Truly enjoyed Idar-Oberstein, the hotel was unbelievable to railway. The location was favourable, overlooking city. You can find Kredenz Fruhstuck right by the venue to a have lunch

Liked our stay, totally recommend this hotel. It was an unbelievable and clean property with an outdoor restaurant. - Stayed in a reasonably large and updated room that was updated and clean. - the bed was perfect, great night sleep. - the location of the hotel was absolutely perfect and lovely - not too far away from an old church.

This hotel is unbelievable! The staff is like my new BFFs - so friendly and helpful, speaking both German and English like total pros. The location is mind-blowingly central, right in the heart of everything, and there are awesome pubs and cafes nearby. And let's talk about those massage chairs. oh my goodness, they are legit amazing! Plus, the rooms and bathrooms are huge, comfy, and warm, with the comfiest mattress and pillows ever. And did I mention the quietness? Jaw-dropping! Also, the food at the nearby restaurant is super tasty, and the waitress is on top of her game, despite being crazy busy. And get this - there's even an incredible mineral museum across the street with a jaw-dropping collection. This place is a dream come true, thank you, thank you, thank you!

The location is ideal and excellent, just a short stroll away from Burg Bosselstein. All the staff members are very friendly and super friendly.

This place is nice and tidy, and the staff is really friendly. the rooms are modern and comfy. the location is lovely, and you can enjoy a delicious breakfast here. You also have the option to dine at the restaurant, which serves amazing food! 🍽️

As a disabled traveler, I was pleased to find that Hotel Schlossschenke provided convenient car parking right outside the hotel. the spacious rooms were comfortable and clean, making it easy for me to move around with my mobility needs. the hotel's central location allowed me to explore the local places of interest in Oberstein, all within easy walking distance. the friendly and welcoming staff made my stay even more pleasant, and the delicious breakfast was a great start to my day.

Enjoyable New Year's Stay

The hotel provided a great location for exploring the area, with plenty of nearby cafes and restaurants. The staff was also very helpful, offering useful advice on nearby attractions and cuisine. the room and bathroom were both very spacious and clean, with comfortable bedding. One added touch that we really enjoyed was the massage chairs - they were a great way to unwind after a day of exploring.

The downside to the hotel was the thin walls - noise from neighboring rooms was quite noticeable at times. while the room was comfortable, it did lack some amenities we were used to, such as air conditioning.

Friendly and welcoming staff, convenient location, spacious and clean rooms, delicious breakfast, easy access to local attractions.

The location was perfect, right below the castle and the beautiful church in the mountain. The food was really good and the waitress was so busy, yet was prompt, friendly, and courteous. The mineral museum across the street was amazingly impressive with its extensive collection of geodes, jewelry, and semi-precious and precious stones from all over the world.

The value for money at this hotel was outstanding, and the room was clean and comfortable. The location was perfect, being close to the places we wanted to visit, and the staff treated us like VIPs.

One thing that could make the breakfast offerings better would be to have a wider variety of fresh fruits.

As a family with children, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this wonderful hotel in Idar Oberstein. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The location was perfect, with easy access to the center of Oberstein and nearby attractions. Our kids especially loved exploring the local gemstone mines, while the little ones had a blast at the interactive toy museum. It was a memorable experience for the whole family!

My wife says that it would have been great to have more kid-friendly meal options. Only one suggestion for families with children: more variety in the menu.
